Hey everyone,
I'm thinking about adding an olive plant to my indoor collection, but I'm not entirely sure how well they'll do inside. I love the idea of having one because of their unique look and the possibility of getting olives someday (though I know that might be a stretch indoors).
For those of you who have experience with olive plants indoors, could you share some tips? Specifically, I'm interested in:
- Lighting: How much sun do they really need? Do they survive in less bright spots?
- Watering: What's the optimal watering schedule to keep them happy and healthy?
- Soil: Is there a particular type or mix that works best for potted indoor olives?
- Pruning and Maintenance: Any specific care tips to keep them in good shape and encourage growth?
- Pests and Problems: Are there common issues to watch out for when growing them indoors?
Any advice or experiences would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
