In my experience, I've found a little extra humidity really helps keep my Manjula Pothos looking vibrant. I sometimes use a small humidifier nearby or even just place a dish of water close to the plant to slightly boost the humidity levels. I've also experimented with grouping it with other plants to create a microclimate of sorts, which seems to benefit all of them.
As far as comparing it to other pothos varieties, I notice that my Manjula grows more slowly than, say, my Golden Pothos. I think it's partly due to the variegation since it reduces the amount of chlorophyll, which is essential for photosynthesis. But despite its slower growth, the unique patterns and colors more than make up for the wait. How do others feel about the growth rate? Would love to hear everyone's thought!
