I’ve seen similar reversion in my ‘Black’ pothos under low light-around 300 lux, it started greening out after 4 months. No hard data handy, but a study on Epipremnum variegation (from HortScience, 2018) showed chlorophyll a/b ratios dropping 20-30% in <500 lux, pushing solid green for efficiency. To stabilize, propagate from the darkest tips via stem cuttings in brighter spots (aim for 800+ lux), and supplement with a full-spectrum LED 12 hours/day. Keeps mine dark and healthy indoors.
