So, I’m officially declaring a truce with my indoor vanilla plant that seems to think it’s the offspring of a tropical goddess. Apparently, it demands a humid, misty rainforest vibe and will throw a tantrum if I dare to water it on schedule. Has anyone else tried playing therapist to a vanilla plant that’s way too high-maintenance? Tips, tricks, or suggestions on how to appease its diva-like whims (and perhaps coax it into actually producing vanilla pods rather than just being fancy wall decor) would be much appreciated. Enlighten me before I start negotiating with it in exchange for room temperature and a watering can.
