I’ve recently become interested in ornamental grasses and came across Carex morrowii, also known as Japanese Variegated Sedge. I love its textured look and the fact that it can thrive in shade, but I’m not entirely sure about the best conditions for it to flourish indoors.
Does anyone have experience growing Carex morrowii inside? I’m especially curious about:
- Optimal light conditions: How much light does it really need to stay healthy indoors?
- Watering schedule: How often should I water it, and are there any particular signs that indicate it needs more or less water?
- Soil type: Is there a specific type of potting mix that’s best suited for this plant?
- General care tips or common issues I should watch out for.
Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
